JL JOURNAL : Which Would You Want - JL Wrangler Axle Tubes vs Dynatrac ProRock 44

Going back to weight, the Dana 44 rear is 140lbs./Dana 44 front is 160lbs.The rear Dana 60 is ruffly 280 lbs. the Dana 60 front is 305lbs. It really adds up. I wonder how heavy is the Dana80? How much will the vehicle’s characteristics change from a PR44/37’s versus PR Elite package and 40’s...

Where the flock are the Fast n Furious 2.0 Turbo skids?

Looks good but I don’t understand how it bolts to the transfer case skid. Is it replaced with a new one or is the original used? I found the instructions on their website. Sent from my iPhone using JL Wrangler Jeep Forum mobile app

Winch in Stock Plastic (Not Steel) Bumper?

I’m looking for a completely hidden winch designed bumper. Like the one available from boostwerks engineering on the xj. Has anyone seen this kind of mount for a JL? The winch is behind the license plate. Sent from my iPhone using JL Wrangler Jeep Forum mobile app

    Cell phone mount

I removed the 3m double sided tape to see if I can stiffen it up. I finally used rivets instead of the screws. Now its tight. Sent from my iPhone using JL Wrangler Jeep Forum mobile app

Lift kit and tire sizes for a jl sport.

Yup. Spectacular. It will be interesting to see which axles you decide to go with. I'm undecided between Rubicon 44s $4k or Dana 60s $10k. I only want to upgrade once. It's too expensive to do this twice. I like how you stayed with Sport flares. European Jl's all have the same style fender...

At this point Im just going to try to get kicked off this useless forum haha

Also, the Rubicon suspension is about 1.25" higher than the Sport so spacers and quality corrected length shocks could work better than a Rubicon because of the specific spring rate requirements needed at each wheel is different. So if the intended goal is on road driving the Sport suspension is...

Hmm. So, to help answer the original question. The J-Wagon. Jeep has done this to a Sahara for the 2018 Moab Easter Jeep Safari Wrangler Concepts. Rubicon fenders, Rubicon axles and suspension. Hope that helps. Sent from my SM-T550 using JL Wrangler Jeep Forum mobile app

    3.6 or Turbo

I have the 2.0T Sport. It really is the only choice for me. Since I already have a Rubicon TJ. Really love the inline 2.0T. With Shell 93 octane this is what I'm getting. I've never had a Jeep get even 20 mpg, so for me it's nice. Sent from my SM-G930V using JL Wrangler Jeep Forum mobile app
