HEADS UP : Changes to JLWRANGLER are Coming / GOT QUESTIONS - Ask Them Here

Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you know that there will be some pretty big changes coming to JLWRANGLER today. Specifically, we will be moving the entire database onto a new, modern and up to date software system. Obviously, there will be some downtime but once we're up again, things will look and feel a little different than what you're used to but overall, I think you'll find that it works pretty much the same. I should note that your account and login information will not change so you should be able to access the forum just like you always do. If there is a downside, it's that our mobile app may not work anymore or at least, not initially anyway. However, the new software will look and feel just like an app on your phone or tablet browser and I think a lot of you will like the experience better.

With all that said, I'm sure there will more than a few of you who will have questions and this is the place to ask them. :cool:

Ah...good old Xenforo software. Use it a lot on other forums and this version looks great!
Thank you and yes, Xenforo is a much better software to be working with. We've been wanting to make the switch for a while now.

Looking forward to the app update? I spend my time before going to sleep at night every night checking the forum, but I do it through mobile app which currently isn't working. If I had not gotten the email from you I would not have even known to log in using a browswer, I just assumed you had temporary technical issues. Anyway, this isn't how I use the site, so I for one am hoping the app comes back or I won't be able to read anymore.

So far as I know, our app is working. I'm using it now.

Actually, I can access it with the tapatalk app, but not with the native JL app. It opens, but then.just spins trying to update the feed and nothing ever happens.

The JL Wrangler app in the play store does not work with this, nor can I access is via the tapatalk app. Its there but it just spins until the cows come home pretending to load feeds. Any idea if you plan to bring the apps back? Its just to inconvenient to mess with in a browser on a tiny phone screen to bother. Miss reading the forum. If someone could update on tge app situation that would be great.

Sorry, the company that made our app got bought out by the Chinese one that you like using. We got tired of paying them for their shitty service.
