Noooo, not again! First missing brackets for rear coilovers and hardware and now this? It's my luck I guess and of course I'm in FL and I don't know anyone in my area with this set up.
Anyway thanks for quick response.

Find out exactly what you're missing call Evo in the morning and they'll send it out to you no problem. I would do a total inventory and see what you're going to need to finish just in case.

Looks like this is last big item missing/wrong. I'm not even talking about bolts and nuts. I can get those at local hardware store. I ordered everything thru Northridge4x4 so I'll call them first. They have been a big help everytime I called!

I talked today to Andrew at EVO and he said they don't make lower control arms with pinch bolt for 2 years now, so I'm stuck with LCA with no pinch bolt. Anyone on here with lower control arms and no pinch bolt?

It's for JL. Andrew just said these are correct and that they don't make LCA with pinch bolt anymore! Every EVO kit I saw, was all arms with pinch bolts.

I just put my long arm and coil over on six months ago- it has pinch bolts on it.
I think you better call Evo again or call Northridge.
I won't have my Jeep back from my guy until tomorrow the next day but I'll take pictures and send them to you.
in my opinion that's why you pay that big money to have the convenience of adjusting it while it's on the car.

I called Northridge first today and Molly from customer service talk to EVO also and get the exact same answer. Basically what I've is a new design what Andrew from EVO told me. Maybe they sold you one of the old sets with pinch bolts and now on everyone will have lower arms w/o pinch bolts?

I bought the EVO Long Arm kit but with King shocks around 7 months ago and it also came with pinch bolts.
I think someone just got the wrong information here because mine has pinch bolts and all the ones that I saw if you look at the directions they all have pinch bolts.
Go to Evo's site look at the 3010.pdf and it'll show a picture of all the arms they all have pinch bolts.

You could always ask a question in the EVO/ORE Supporting Vendor section HERE. Your question might help others. Me personally, I would have no qualms about using lowers that do not have a pinch bolt.

The pinch bolts might be nice when you are first setting up your suspension. But in reality once your axle is centered and caster is set, you will probably never touch them again. My control arms aren’t EVO but do use jam nuts instead of pinch bolts. All I check every now and then is that the jam nuts are still tight.

I disagree the pinch bolts make adjustments simple, and in my opinion every control arm should have pinch bolts now that I've had them.

Meh... Once properly set up, how often does one need to make adjustments? Even with the adjustment nut/compression slots aligned and the pinch bolt torqued, you may still find issues.

There's something to be said for the simplicity of a jam nut.

I've had at least 20 sets of control arms and in my opinion pinch bolts should have been on all of them.
Again that's just my opinion.
Especially if you have a coilover. I just put UD 60s on my Jeep and it made it a lot easier for me.IMG_20200330_084055.jpg
