Ok i hate to ask. But I’m bored waiting on this Jeep.
Does anyone have any experience with the metal cloak 3.5 lift?
I watch brit and Kevin on you tube. They seem to like there’s.

Not sure who those people are but on the JK, I remember seeing their funky shocks that leaked all the time. I just really don't see needing a 3.5 inch lift on the JL myself.

Lol now that’s an opinion! Lol you crack me up!
I guess that’s why I asked.
But what makes there lift crap?
Ride? Engineering? Looks solid. I’m not sold on the 6 pack shock. But the JL dual rate springs and there bushings seem to get good reviews.

Sorry I like Brit’s videos. They’ll try anything and everything.

I’m basing my opinion on the crap they made for the JK and carried over the same shit to the JL. But it’s your money so do what you want. Maybe you and your YouTube buddies can go break shit together!

They have not broke a single cloak part yet. And they do some big buggy size stuff. But I think as well as he drives, he’s pretty easy on parts. So maybe it’s him not the parts.

I ran a Metal cloak 3.5 with six packs on my Jk for a couple of years.
six packs- not so good
dual rate springs-ok
control arms-ok
steering components- not so good

I run a rock Krawler 3.5" lift with Evo control arms and Falcon shocks on the wifes JLUR and we love it. It works for our needs and we run the 37 13.50 17 cooper stt pros

The 6-pak shocks are a joke for sure. For the money, you'd be better off running coilovers but, that's just my opinion.

Honestly, I think it's great that a relatively new company can do such a great job of marketing. I mean, kudos to them and really, maybe someday they'll get past some of their growing pains...

Until then, I would encourage others to be their test dummy and maybe someday, I'll consider their products.

Ok so you must be right. Go play on your big buggy shit and let me know how it goes.

Lol

Apparently "buggy shit" is relative and his view is vastly different than mine. I have watched some of their videos as people comment so want to see what they are spewing. Not great not horrible They do try some harder stuff but it's certainly not "buggy shit" by any means imo.

When Metalcloak junk can do the shit EVO stuff can handle maybe folks will pay attention. This cat's Jeep is running off the shelf EVO parts in the King of the Hammers race.
