Status: Scheduling

I placed my order for a JLUR on Monday, March 26 and thought I'd check with Jeep today to confirm the order had been placed properly by the dealership. I went to the Jeep website and initiated a chat session with a Jeep Customer Care Specialist. I waited about 3 minutes. Once she came on, I gave her my Vehicle Order Number (VON) and she was able to provide me with my specific VIN. I was told that my vehicle is in the scheduling phase of the order process. This is where all parts needed for my particular build are scheduled. I was told that some vehicles can remain in this phase for up to 30 days depending on availability of parts needed for my particular model. Once the parts are scheduled, the order moves to the next phase. I was also told that I have eleven more phases to go through before the final shipping phase. I was told by the dealer five to six weeks from March 26. Assuming six weeks puts me at May 7. Let's see how it goes. I'll keep you posted in this thread.

The model I ordered included the following:

Rubicon Unlimited
6-speed transmission
black cloth interior
standard wheels
body-color fenders
LED package
cold weather package
tow package
navigation package
premium soft top

Not sure if any of these packages are delayed by parts suppliers.

Congratulations on your order.

Some have been delivered in as little as 4-5 weeks while others are taking longer. I was told 4-6 weeks when I ordered on Jan 23rd. I'm going on 10 weeks next Tuesday. I ordered a JLUR also.

I got the same status from Jeep yesterday. (I ordered my JLUR on 3/17) I was told that the vehicles typically take 10-12 weeks to build after the parts are there. I got some of the same options:
Sting Gray color
8-speed automatic
Dual tops
Black cloth interior
Standard wheels
Black fenders and tops
LED lights and steel bumpers
8.4” display
Tow package
Remote start and proximity keyless entry

Hopefully it comes before mid-June, since my wife and I are scheduled to go on a trail run. Congratulations on your order.

Progress

Just got an update from Jeep. My JLUR is in I status. Can't wait until it gets delivered!! They weren't able to give a timeframe, but hopefully it'll be soon.

Congrats. I called using the new number that came out yesterday and got an update, but there hasn't been a change since 4/15 when it went to D1 status. I was told that on or after 5/6, I can request FCA to elevate the inquiry since it'll be more than 3 weeks in D1. I was told that once it goes into production (E, F, G, I, etc) that it's a fairly quick process. I confirmed that the delivery will be done by shuttle directly to the dealer, so there shouldn't be any delays with shipping. I also confirmed that the LEDs, not the soft top, were the cause of my delay from D to D1.
