Hello everyone. I'm a lifelong Toyota owner and Jeep skeptic. I traded in my 16' 4Runner for my JLU the other day. I really just found too many situations where my 4R was limited vs what Jeeps could do. To go any farther with my truck was going to cost half as much as the Jeep. Traded it in and became a Jeep owner.
I just love the thing. It's actually quite peppy. Engine note is nice. It's comfortable. For the money/trim, I am very satisfied. I feel like as the parts come out and over the years, I'll replace a lot from the Rubicon.
Here's my silver JLU Sport S. Silver with Uconnect upgrade, auto climate, and the other goodies. Went with the soft top here in Florida of course!
My biggest thing against Toyota is I really didn't like the community or events. I want to do things and meet people vs. mall flexing with overland gear.. /end rant.
Looking at what to mod first but I'm really enjoying how it drives. That's saying a lot for what's supposed to be a 4x4 vehicle.
