Say it's winter, you pulled up to 7-11 to grab a coffee but dont want to shut the engine off, can you hop out, lock the doors using the fob or the button on the outside handle, and leave it running?
Can you lock the JL while it's running? (Keyless Go)

Yes you can. Probably until you get too far away and it will tell you to get back in the vehicle and if you don’t it’ll shut off.

Yes u can. It will ding like crazy inside and the dash will read key has left the vehicle. It also won't shift into gear at that point. Once it sees key again all is happy.
