Just venting[emoji852], still waiting for my JLUR to arrive. Was ordered on 1-23 and supposedly shipped on 2-12. From there, information has been very sketchy at best by dealership. Just frustrating seeing other JLs ordered after mine arriving and new owners taking possession of them from other dealerships in other states. I know its not my dealership, its just the shipping from Jeep [emoji53][emoji53] and lack of good communications[emoji848][emoji848]. My dealership is eagerly awaiting the arrival of my JLUR as I have suspension lift, wheel, tires, ect(not paid for yet) waiting at the dealership to be installed.

Again just venting, frustrated. Maybe just overly anxious............

Last week,

It should be here, Monday, then Tuesday, then Wednesday , then Friday.

Its in the local rail yard, waiting to be unloaded and delivered.

Jeep is trying to find it.

Dealership seams confused too.

I know ordering/shipping can be alittle little slow, but when Jeep can't communicate accurately as to where a vehicle is, especially in this day and age of electronics, something or someone needs to be replaced. Jeep was very accurate/up to date until shipping, then..................

Ok, so just a few minutes ago I received this message from Jeep Customer Care via FB private message.

Makes absolutely no sense, especially since Jeep Rep told dealership that Jeep was shipped back on 2-12, it was ordered on 01-23. Now you see why Im confussed.

Hi Carl,

Congratulations on the purchase of your new Jeep Wrangler! Your vehicle is currently in F status, which means that it is currently in the build process, specifically in paint. Please check back next week for an update on your order status!

Coming from a guy who waited 99 days to get his JL, I feel your pain. It totally sucks but it'll all be worth it in the end. Hang in there.

I agree totally Eddie. It's just very frustrating when Jeep can't get their information correct or even close. So at this point I'm still not sure what my JLUR's "real" status is. Dealership is trying to check further too, as this contradicts what they were told 2 weeks ago by factory rep. Kinda comical

Your dealer can see the status of every jeep they order and their exact location once shipped. The factory rep doesn't give them status updates. Sounds like you have a dealer issue to me.

Could be partial dealer issue, if thats the case. But still doesnt explain why Jeeps ordered after mine have been delivered, unless mine was damaged/destroyed during shipping and a new one is being built.

There's something funky going on, hmmmmm

It all depends on parts and paint availability it can happen that one small detail say proximity handles can delay production weeks.

Lots of variables, just confusing, especially when dealership is at a loss. Dealership truely was expecting it a week and a half ago, and reassured it was in transit and do any day.

I guess at this point, it is a true waiting game. If it take 3-4 more weeks, then I guess it is in the paint booth on todays date.

I guess dealership is unaware how "they" can track a build, as they keep saying their factory rep says. I am going to mention that to my salesman. Its a younger dealership, maybe their young sales staff isnt aware of that ability. Then again, if a factory rep gives bad info, he not much of a factory rep [emoji848][emoji848][emoji848]

Tell him log into DealerConnect (the same place he ordered your Jeep) and click on Order status. It shows every vehicle they have ordered and current status. And the bottom choice in same screen is VINTrack which shows them exactly where it is and the estimated delivery date.

Holy crap. This sucks. I hope they find the missing Jeep. When it finally shows, if there is a different VIN somebody from Kansas City probably stole it.

13 gecko literally just told you how to track it through the dealer.

Yeah. I understand but the dealer isn’t going to update me every time a status changes. that means I’ll have to call every other day to get an update. Far from ideal. I know some forums offer a tracking service for premium members etc. That’s what I was getting at.

So latest update.

Jeep is in status "I" build complete awaiting inspection.

Jeep was scheduled for shipping on 2-14, but was pulled for random special quality inspection. This inspection is done randomly with 10-20 vehicles at a time. This is above the regular inspection and covers every square inch of the vehicle, very extensive inspection. Any issues found are noted, then determination is made as to whether its just 1 vehicle issue, 1 run issue or a major production issue. Good point is all issues found are fixed, so JLUR should be in perfect shape.

Upon completion of this inspection and any issues fixed, Jeep is then shipped.

Sooooo, I was told, hopefully it will come out of "I" status at any moment and be shipped asap.

My contact stated they will try to expidite shipping as soon as it come out of "I" status.

This person was very helpful, informative, sympathetic and apologetic for delays and will keep me updated on any status change.

🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
