FIRST SNOW for JET Li - JL Wrangler Playing in the White Stuff

Just when we thought we had completely missed winter, it finally decided to descend upon us... in MARCH! Sure, we've had a dusting of snow here and there but for the most part, the last few months have been nice... maybe too nice. Certainly, mother nature had a way of fixing that for us and did so by laying a nice blanket of white stuff all across our little valley last night. Of course, there was no way that Cindy and I wasn't going to miss out on an opportunity like this and so bright and early this morning, we loaded up our brand new 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler Unlimited and headed up into the hills. I know it isn't much but here are a few pics that we took of the fun we had, taking JET Li out to play in the snow and for the very first time. I hope you enjoy.

Before heading out, we had a few errands to run and being that all the streets were covered in a mix of sand covered snow, we got dirty in a hurry. But, here's a shot of JET Li back at home and ready to play.

Time to head up into the hills and lay down some first tracks.

Always nice to get out to the far side of the hills, just beyond the homes.

In a quest to find more snow, we decided to head south but found that there was less snow there than at home.

Regardless of how much or how little snow there was, it's always fun to lay down the first set of tracks.

Again, nothing special but it was JET Li's first time out in snow and I think he had a great time.

Looks like so much fun! Hope you had a blast. We were out playing this evening in the over a foot of snow we just got. The JL seems like it can go anywhere, anytime.

Ok, no more snow pics unless I get mine in time for at least one snow trip. :wings: this waiting is torture. LoL

Glad you guys liked the pics. The last couple of days has been a ton of fun and we've really been pushing our JL to it's limits.

Anyone else find that the new placement of the windshield washer sprayers gets icy and blocks the sprayers in the colder climates? Also, I know this is petty, but the window defrost area on top of the dash doesn’t extend the length of the windshield so a quarter or so of the passenger blade freezes up easily. Other than that it’s amaze balls out in the snow.

I put in some winter mix in my washer and it keeps things from icing up for me. As far as the defrosters go, you should see what it looks like on a 2011-18 JK let alone a 2007-10 JK. Trust me, the JL defroster is WAY BETTER.

Are you telling me my 13 has a defroster? Never knew with the way it is in winter lol

Weird I never noticed it as much in our JK. That was our first Jeep so maybe I was Jeep Blind. Lol.

I must reiterate how much I love this thing though.

Long live PRJCT SPCTR. Lol.

LOL!! That could be it. So far, I'm really happy with the defrosters on our JL. Of course, this is my baseline for comparison
