Among the many photos Jeep released along with the official reveal of the 2017 JL Wrangler were the following detail shots of the 2-door Rubicon they had on display.

Here's what the dash looks like with the door removed and the windshield folded down.

It was nice to see the Jeep emblem put back on the side of the Wrangler just as it had been for generations.

The keystone grill of the JL Wrangler is a welcome sight as well.

While I'm not too fond of the integrated turn signal and integrated side marker light being located on the fender, I will say that it at least has a clean look.

While the all new JL Wrangler still looks a lot like a JK Wrangler from the outside, there's nothing similar about the two from the inside. As you can see in these photos provided by Jeep, the interior of this JL Wrangler Rubicon looks super sharp, modern and clean.

Among other things, you can set it up to provide additional gauges to help you know what's going on with your Jeep.

There was a lot of debate as to whether or not the Jeep JL Wrangler should keep a windshield that folds down and after a lot of debate, it was decided that the main reason nobody ever folded theirs down is because it was too difficult. Well, the guys over at Jeep decided to make it super simple and here are a few shots that show the different positions of the windshield.

I know some think the interior is too modern, and complicated for an off-road vehicle, but I think it’s very well done.

I’d have to speculate, that rolling on stock 33’s, a JL Rubicon should, at least on paper, be more capable than a stock JK Rubicon. That’s impressive.

The more I look at it.... the less I think the interior is overdone and the more I think it was well thought out. (Same with the Exterior)

Beautiful. I was hoping the 2 door may hold 3 passengers in the back, but not surprised it doesn't. A 4 door is likely in my future.

Oh, without question, a stock JL will be more capable than a stock JK right out of the box. Even the Sport and Sahara have a better crawl ratio especially with a manual. I bet at the hands of an experienced driver, they'd give a JK Rubicon a run for it's money.

Regarding the interior, I absolutely LOVE it! For as much time as I spend in my Jeep, why wouldn't I want it to look and feel as nice as possible :yup:

Agreed!

Really is a good looking jeep.

120mph on the odometer? :thumb:

LOL!! I missed that till now.

It’ll never happen. You lose too much room with the wheel wells.

What Adam said. I really love the look of the 2-door in a way that I was never really that fond of a 2-door JK. Still, I'd be hard pressed to have one as my only Jeep. A 4-door is still way more capable and convenient to have for longer trips.
