I had to futz with my bars too for the same reason. One nice thing though is that there’s less wind noise from them if they’re further back.

Buy another Sirius antenna (you can get one with a magnetic mount) - disconnect the OEM antenna (put a rubber cap on the end) then mount the new one under the cowl and run the wire thru the firewall hole.

I just got my JL and the cowl looks like plastic? my JK is metal so the magnet was able to hold it in place

If it's plastic, may have to use some heavy duty velcro
