As I'm sure a lot of you know, it took a while to get these but if you're wanting a quality set of rock sliders for your JL Wrangler, the LoD Signature Series are the ones you'll want. These things are pure beef and from experience running them on our JK before, I know they're up to the task of protecting our JL. We've got an install video coming but I thought some of you might want to see what they look like installed. Check it out

Shot of what they look like right out of the box... okay, maybe more like hard rock mining them out of the box.

Being that this is a 100% bolt-on set of sliders, they are super easy to install. The driver side can literally go on in about 15 minutes or less if you don't drill and install the one additional, optional bolt on the back. I opted not to being that it didn't seem necessary or at least to me.

Nice to have something to step on instead of the delicate and scratch prone interior door sill.

The passenger side does take a bit longer to install being that there is one optional hole that I opted to drill and that required installing the slider, marking the point where the hole needs to be drilled, uninstalling the slider, drilling out the hole (which is a bit of a pain) and then reinstalling the slider. I'd say, about 20-30 minutes to do. Here's a few outside shots to give you an over all look at JET Li now.

And again, a shot of a nice useful step.

Can't wait to test these out on the rocks

Nice. I like the LoD sliders a lot. They make a good step, for my vertically challenged wife.

They do help a lot and I do use them to stand on all the time. I especially love how they help keep the body of our Jeep further away from obstacles. :yup:

Could you leave the stock rails in place if you wanted or do they interfere?

No, they would get in the way. And really, I see no reason to keep them anyway. They'd just be dead weight for no good reason.

That one missing bolt would drive me bat shit crazy. I'd have to drill it too lol

:cheesy: Truth be told, I think about them all the time. I may just break down and drill them too

We have them on the JK. No complaints.

Yup, great rocker guards for the JK. :yup:

Those look great! I love my lod rear tire carrier. The more I see the JL, the more I see one in my future. It's cool to see all the aftermarket stuff coming out for it.

... one optional hole that I opted to drill and that required installing the slider, marking the point where the hole needs to be drilled, uninstalling the slider, drilling out the hole (which is a bit of a pain)...

Can you offer any advice as to how to make that drilling easier? It sounds easy enough. What's the catch?

...that we just may have to trade. I'll even throw in a cool overhead CB mount I have coming my way.

When installing mine one of the frame hole nuts separated from the frame (drivers side) and I had to cut the bolt and leave it empty.
Hope the strength will still be there. Didn’t use the optional bolts as I didn’t wanna drill either.
