A bit of bling....new wheels

I wasn’t going to buy new wheels but I have not really liked the black Rubicon wheels much. I have wanted these Methods for a while and finally decided to make the purchase. I really like the contrast with a black Jeep and after seeing Eddies it sold me. No judgements or disrespect, I think the whole black wheel craze is a bit overdone but it’s probably more that I’m more old school. Hell, I like white letters. Lol. Anyways. Here’s a little pic. I’ll have them installed tomorrow. A pic of what they’re going on.

Agreed on the whole black wheel thing. If you're any distance away, it just looks like their hubcaps fell off.
Those Methods should look sharp against the black paint!

Yes definatley looks great. I enjoy the classic chrome/polish style with the white letters out. I'm debating that or anodized red wheels (although I do feel that is being done a lot too).

Alright. Here are some pics after work. Thanks for all the compliments! These are 17x8.5 with 4.75” BS and 0 offset. It already feels a bit more stable. Although I don’t care for the wheels sticking out of the fenders due to slush and other crap in the winter, I do like the look and feel. Ask if you want any specific pics.

Thank you for the pics, love the way it looks, IMHO (which doesn't count for anything), looks a lot better with the wheels/tires further out, much more aggressive, and like you said, the ride/stance is much more stable.

Wheels look good. Can’t say I’m a fan of white wall lettering coming back though.

I like white out on my old iron

I do like RWL on some vehicles... kind of like Chuck Taylors for Old Iron and muscle cars. I can't imagine having them on my Wrangler though. My JK side walls are pretty marked up from rocks and such. Can't imagine what RWLs would look like. Although they do have white touch up for the letters, I'm sure chunks would be missing from them.

Either way, those wheels look great on your rig.

Thanks all! I will say, they are pain to keep nice. They are already kinda beat up from the rocks. But dammit, I paid for those letters and I’m damn well going to use them!

I kinda agree with Overlander. They looked better with darker wheels. They don’t need any contrast with the shine of the wheels. So the next set will probably be the blackwall STTs.
