Audio volume differences from Android to Radio

I use Android Auto pretty much all the time. I have the 7.4" display with the premium Alpine system with subwoofer. However, when I disconnect my phone, the volume difference when the Sirius or FM radio kicks in almost blows me out of the Jeep. It's like the gain on the phone input needs to be raised to meet the volume of the other sources. I see the 'Aux volume offset' setting in my audio options, but it is grayed out and I believe that would be for the 3.5mm jack input anyway.

Anyone have a similar experience or know how to remedy?

Are you sure you have the volume all the way up? Also my Samsung has a thing where it automatically lowered the volume when connected to a sound source (so they aren't liable for hearing damages from people using headphones to loud) and I have to manually turn it off and raise the volume

I'm going to check that the media volume level on the phone doesn't change it. I'm hoping it does. Simply hitting the volume up button on the phone doesn't do anything.
