Sorry I put this in the wrong spot. I thought above was for aftermarket bumpers. Anywho I am on a mission to fit an evo proseries with a Warn 10s on the jl. Couple more progress pics.

Nah, you've got this in the right place. You are after all "showing and telling" what YOU are doing and it looks good :thumb:

Thank you all. Yes four flusher it is a jk version which only needs trimming to get to work. The main issue arises when you try to stuff a Zeon 10k into it. That requires moving it forward.

Nothing rubs. And it all fit perfectly. Misc spacers needed on bumper to adjust for moving the plate forward. Overall a very easy project that turned out perfectly. Great job. I really like the way it looks with the winch down in the bumper. I was planning on going with a LOD bumper but I like the look of your EVO. I see that the Rubicon steel bumper has the winch down in it. Any pros or cons, regarding winch on top or set inside?

Thank you. I like to have the winch down in the frame so it pulls straight. If you mount it above the frame it exerts forces in the wrong places imo. I am unfamiliar with the steel Jeep bumpers. I did not opt for them as I knew I wanted an evo. It was not to hard to move it out the way I did.

Putting in down in the bumper keeps the center of gravity lower, always a plus. Also does less to impede the air flow to the radiator, though I doubt that matters much. OTOH, it makes it hard to see how the rope is winding on the drum to keep it neat. And if anything goes wrong with the wrapping it’s a bitch to fix.

I have it low in the bumper on my JK, but I am tired of the Jay Leno chin resulting from the bumper sitting out far to accommodate the winch. I plan to run it on top of an LOD Destroyer Shorty this time.

So the wife brought home a lil fella last night. He was cold wet and scared but we brought him in and showered him with Rubi goodness. Our oldest daughter named him Jumomjeep.

Thank you! In preparation of a hiney lift on the Rubi I am swapping over the tire carrier to Jumomjeep. The sport carrier did not fit the Rubi I tire and wheel very well. The tire cover is a holdover from her jk, honestly I have never seen squatch so happy! :0)

Nice Jeep! I agree, the bright white is a great color for the Wrangler. Bright white looks better covered in mud though.

That cover looks great. Unfortunate placement of the camera through his anatomy though. How did you cut the cover to get the camera through? Did you weld the edges so the cover doesn't tear as it flaps in the breeze?

It's not just a Jeep, it's an amusement park on wheels.
